Chris Brown was set to appear on Australia’s The Daily Show Tuesday night to promote his upcoming Royalty album, however his plans quickly changed when his spot got cancelled.
Breezy’s work visas for both Australia and New Zealand were revoked back in September due to his domestic violence case with Rihanna several years ago. Even though host Trevor Noah made all the attempts he could to have Brown on the show, the writers and border officials were unmoved.
The bad news doesn’t end there, as Chris has decided he has no choice but to cancel all December tour dates in that region and there won’t be any more until further notice.
Australian Immigration Minister Michaelia Cash had this to say about the MC, “People need to understand if you are going to commit domestic violence and then you want to travel around the world, there are going to be countries that say to you: ‘You cannot come in because you are not of the character we expect in Australia.”
For now, fans from these countries will have to travel outside their borders to catch Breezy live, however you can check out all his new music here at Tapoutmusic including his most recent mixtape Before The Party .
Brown’s upcoming album Royalty is available for pre-order on iTunes now.
